I think it’s safe to say we were all devastated when the President of Nintendo, Satoru Iwata, passed away in 2015, having shown himself, time and time again, to be a really classy guy, eager to revolutionist the industry and do what he felt was right.

To put it in perspective, Iwata even took a pay cut, twice, in order to save staff roles and protect the environment at the company. He was a genuine person who really took responsibility for his actions and decisions, which is something, I think, we can all respect.
Now, it looks like fans of Iwata have something to look forward to, with his new book, Ask Iwata, being published posthumously in the near future.
Coming in Spring 2021 in both print and digital formats, the book looks to capture all of Iwata’s wisdom and words from many of his interviews, putting it all in one, easy to access, place.
Also containing some reflections on the legendary President by others in the industry, it looks like a wonderful way to remember Iwata.
