It looks like the new Crash Bandicoot title might be a bbit of a mixed bag, apparently featuring over 100 levels in total, but also in-app purchases.

Seen here in a tweet shared by Browski and apparently accidentally leaked by Gamestop, the new Crash title, It’s About Time, will have over 100 levels and will also feature “new abilities for innovative gameplay” which looks like a positive step towards something interesting.

However, it’s not all sunshine, with an article by VG247 picking up on the fact that the Microsoft Store currently lists the new title as featuring “in-app purchases” leading many to speculate about the potential microtransactions that could appear within the game.

Seen below in a new trailer and set to hit storefronts on the 2nd of October this year, the latest Crash does look like fun, allowing us to jump back into the shorts of our favourite Bandicoot, doing battle against a Cortex that has had a long time to prepare for our arrival.

Coco is also back and the game looks to featuree some really interesting battle mechanics, thought I have to admit, I cringed when I saw Crash taking a selfie…
