UPDATE: It looks like the Community Lead has now apologised for the action (after many complained and the company felt the pressure) and Janne Mikkonen has now been told he can participate in future events.
They said the official reason for the ban was that Mikkonen had not signed a NDA, despite the fact this has never been brought up to him.

It looks like Blizzard has reminded us, once again, of just how awful they can be to their fans and workers, with the company blacklisting a popular streamer of Hearthstone, Janne Mikkonen, due to his wife speaking out about being laid off from the company.
Addressing the issue in a recent tweet, Mikkonen and his wife, Christina, mentioned how the company has now blacklisted him because Christina “spoke out against the company and offended a CM”, the letters being a shorthand for Community Manager.
I hope Blizzard addresses this issue, but at the same time, I don’t hold out any hope due to Activision Blizzard’s history of treating fans and employees in a less-than-favourable way.
The company have not addressed the situation, as yet.
It’s safe to say we all remember the Blitzchung debacle, as well as the way a large number of employees, including Christina, were let go from the company whilst senior staff received large bonuses.
What do you think about the issue?
