Looking for a fantastic RPG to really get your teeth into?
Then look no further, as the underrated gem, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is getting a remaster!
Confirmed via a Twitter post earlier today after the game was accidentally leaked on the Microsoft store, Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning is on the way, with “stunning visuals” and “refined gameplay”
First released back in 2012, the game had a good reception with both fans and critics, however, due to publishing issues, the game was less than a success, with the studio behind the title (which was created by Major League Baseball player Curtis Schilling), 38 Studios, closing soon after the release of the title.
The game was further mired in controversy due to the online pass included, which many objected to, due to the game being an offline, singleplayer title.
Despite this, the game is a joy to play, with an incredibly deep lore written by the writer behind many of the much-loved Forgotten Realms novels, R.A Salvatore.
So, who else is going to head back into Amalur on the 18th of August?
