I think it’s safe to say the Dark Souls series is pretty popular, with the series having sold over 27 million units according to an official tweet on by FromSoftware, the company behind the iconic series.

Initially having released back in 2011, the brutal role-playing title has claimed the controllers of many a gamer since its release, following on from the similarly difficult PS3 exclusive Demon’s Souls.

With the company now famous for the genre, FromSoftware have since released two more in the series, as well as Bloodborne and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, with the studio now working with George R. R. Martin, the author behind Game of Thrones, on the upcoming Elden Ring (the trailer for which you can watch here).

So, which one of the games is your favorite and how many times have you rage-quit?
