Are you ready to put your survival skills to the test?

Then it looks like you might be in luck, with the popular survival title, DayZ hitting the Xbox Game Pass from the 7th of May.

Announced alongside Final Fantasy IX and joining the likes of Red Dead Redemption 2, Day Z joins a growing assembly of strong titles on the Game Pass system from Microsoft.

Initially released on PC in 2013 and based on the popular mod for the Arma series, players can throw themselves into the aggressive world of danger and pit themselves against zombies and other players in an attempt to survive.

Day Z and Red Dead Redemption 2 will be live on the pass from the 7th of May, with Final Fantasy IX following on the 14th and Fractured Minds, an immersive game that explores mental health, joining the lineup on the 19th.
