It looks like the Final Fantasy VII Remake is officially a success, with the title apparently having shipped and digitally sold over 3.5 million copies in three days.
Announced via the Twitter post below from the official page, the remake appears to have done well with fans, with many choosing to buy it before or on the release date.
Having arrived with some fans early, the remake of the classic title has enjoyed positive reviews from customers, who praise the remake for having expanded upon the classic story, despite some controversial changes, which I won’t spoil here.
However, it doesn’t look like it has been such a roaring success across the globe, with Square Enix accidentally listing the title on Asian stores without a language mentioned, according to this article for Push Square. This means that many fans have ended up with a Chinese and Korean version, rather than an English and Japanese version.
Despite this, I think it’s safe to say they’ve done a great job with the remake.
So, who else is excited for the next part of the story?
