It’s great to see the creators of Plague Inc. doing something positive to support the community and players around the world.

Announcing a large-scale donation of $250,000 via a post on their website, creators, Ndemeic Creations, said that they were also working on a new title that would allow players to try and stop an outbreak, rather than trying to cause one.

Speaking on the donation, Dr Richard Hatchett, the CEO of the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations, said that they were “delighted” with the donation, which would help “tackle the unprecedented challenge of COVID-19”.

With so many negative stories currently appearing around the virus, it’s great to see a company taking a positive step towards making a difference.
