Nintendo will probably be pretty pleased with their success this week, with Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX managing to top the charts this week in the UK.

Reported on here by Christopher Dring for GamesIndustry.biz, it looks like the boxed version of the title has managed to topple Call of Duty: Modern Warfare from the top spot, which I’m sure will lead to a pretty positive attitude this week for Nintendo, as well as the developers, Spike Chunsoft.

Allowing players to take control of the Pokemon themselves as they create their own Rescue Team, Mystery Dungeon is a surreal and different take on the Pokemon universe that initially started back in 2005.

Analysing the player based on a series of questions, the game then picks your ideal Pokemon before allowing you to set off and become the heroes of the Pokemon world.

Which leads me to an interesting question…
