It looks like Activision is still eager to appear like the Empire from Star Wars, with the company now trying to gain access to a Reddit user’s identity in order to take legal action against what they’re calling copyright infringement.

Reddit user Assyrian2410 apparently linked to an image they had supposedly found online of the new battle royale mode coming to Call of Duty, known as War Zone.
The image apparently showed a screenshot of the upcoming content and is now being used by multiple game sites, however, Activision has apparently issued a legal document to Reddit demanding the identity of the initial user, suggesting they are eager to take legal action.
Whilst I can understand the need to keep information secret in regard to upcoming updates and similar content, it doesn’t exactly paint the company in a good light, especially considering the wave of anti-consumer practices they’ve engaged in over the last year or so.
What do you think about the issue?
