It’s a shame to say that Crash Bandicoot has gone from jumping on boxes to jumping on your wallet.
First reported on here by Jump Button, the title looks to be a pretty obvious cash-grab, with Crash posing in front of his new build-able “base” filled with items I’d imagine you need to pay real-world money to build this century.
Having already caused controversy in the past with it’s questionable payment models and supposed game cloning issues, King isn’t really the developer many want to see utilising the Crash Bandicoot IP.
With many eager to see a new entry in the series after teasers back in 2019 suggesting we might see a new Crash title, it’s not exactly what we were all hoping for.
Are you going to play Crash Bandicoot on mobile?
