It looks like fans of The Wonderful 101 have something to look forward to, with the Kickstarter for the game achieving its first goal within 20 minutes.

PlatinumGames, the studio behind titles like Bayonetta, Nier: Automata and Astral Chain have really shown fans that they have the ability to create top-quality games over and over again, so when the developer announce the kickstarter for The Wonderful 101, a title that was initially for the Wii U back in 2013, fans flocked to support the new release.

The Kickstarter page was initially asking for £38,356 in order to support the company in publishing the title themselves rather than approaching another publisher for help.

The current total at time of writing is £802,827…

So if you’re interested in the eccentric title, it’ll not only be heading to Switch in the near future, but also to other consoles and platforms.
