It looks like buyers of the new Animal Crossing: New Horizons title may be in for a shock, with the game limiting players to just one island per cartridge, regardless of how many other accounts your Nintendo Switch has.
Speaking on the issue in a tweet here, ACPocketNews announced that only one island “can exist per Nintendo Switch console” meaning that people sharing a console or playing together will have to share space, rather than create their own, unique islands.
It’s a shame to see that customers will be restricted in regard to their creations, but also allows us to wonder whether this is a frustration tactic designed to encourage us to buy DLC at a later date, something that is easy to believe when you look at the recent Pokemon: Sword and Shield and Pokemon: Home debacle.
What do you think about the issue?
