It looks like Activision Blizzard may be learning the hard way that it’s not a good idea to lie to your fans, with the remaster of the classic Warcraft 3 now sitting on an incredibly low 0.6 on Metacritic.

Hailed as one of the best RTS games of all time, Warcraft 3 has always occupied a special place in the heart of fans and many were eager to get their hands on the remaster of the title after an impressive showcase by Blizzard back in 2018.

However, with many of the features now scaled back and a shifty terms of service putting fans in a less gracious mood, the title is continuing to drop on Metacritic.

Having only recently escaped their last controversy surrounding the censoring of a professional Hearthstone player, the company looks to be back in the fire again, with many fans writing-off the company as having changed from the consumer friendly advocates the were in the past.
