It looks like Ubisoft is eager to recover after a lacklustre year in 2019, with the company shifting its direction and restructuring its creative team for 2020 and 2021.

Having seen many of their titles underachieve last year, Ubisoft has instead decided to move its focus to vary the types of games released by the studio, with the previous focus on sandbox and open-world titles like Ghost Recon: Breakpoint clearly not hitting the mark with gamers.
Speaking to VGC and discussed in a brilliant article by Andy Robinson here, the company seems to have noticed the fatigue felt by customers who are regularly offered live service titles and are eager to step away from simply making one genre, something the company has been criticised for in the past.
Personally, I’d love to see more titles similar to the classic Rainbow Six and Splinter Cell we used to see on the shelves.
