If you’ve not played Slay the Spire, it’s a fantastic roguelike-meets-card-game that allows you to lead your chosen hero towards the top of a magical spire, gaining new cards and artefacts as you beat enemy encounters and tackle surprising scenarios.

It’s a great title and it’s brilliant to see that Mega Crit Games are still working hard to grow the title, having just added a new character as part of an update, which means an entirely new deck, new abilities and loads of bug fixes.

The new character, known as The Watcher, looks to act as a sort of paladin-style class, utilising divine stances and casting judgement on the enemies she faces on her quest to the top of the spire.
