It looks like we’re in for a treat when it comes to new releases from DICE, with Vince Zampella, one of the Founders of Respawn Entertainment, taking over as CEO of the LA-based studio.

Having seen controversy and mixed reviews with their latest titles, Battlefield 5 and Star Wars: Battlefront 2, the studio is now in the hands of Zampella, who has helped to create some fantastic products in the past at Respawn.
Having worked on titles like Titanfall and also with Infinity Ward on the Call of Duty franchise, among other popular games, the appointment of Zampella is a positive step and exciting step for the EA-owned company.
Speaking to the LA Times here, Zampella spoke about re-branding DICe under a new name in order to create a “new image” for people to associate with new and “amazing things”.
It’s great to see Zampella embracing the new role and I’m excited to see what the studio can do under the new CEO, but do you think it’ll be enough to bring DICE back from the failures of Battlefront and Battlefield?
What do you think?
