This is only a rumour, but it looks like Red Dead Redemption 2 might be appearing on the Switch in future.

Recently appearing listed as a Switch title on a Spanish website here, it’s not all that convincing, but when you consider that a Switch controller was found within the texture files of the game recently, it becomes a bit more realistic.

With far less power than other consoles and PC set-ups, many would be sceptical that a port to the Switch could be done, however, after having seen the success achieved with the recent port of The Witcher 3, it seems like something feasible.

Having achieved critical and fan acclaim when it launched in October 2018, the outlaw-focused title would be a fantastic addition to the Switch line-up, but we’ll have to wait and see if it becomes a reality in the near future.
