It’s always good to see a positive story, especially when it comes to a franchise we know and love.

With the latest Netflix Witcher series starring Henry Cavill scoring well with both critics and fans and cementing itself as a solid entry in its own right, it’s safe to say that we’d all be happy with just this news.

But there’s more!

It looks like the author of The Witcher novels, Andrzej Sapkowski has come to an agreement with CD Projekt Red about the future of the franchise, granting the studio new rights over the intellectual property that will allow them to create graphic novels, board games, merchandise and more videogames around the beloved title.

Initially disagreeing about the payment received for the books, fans were on edge about the relationship between the author and studio, but now it looks like we can all breathe easy and look forward to even more Witcher content in future!
