With Respawn Entertainment recruiting new staff, some have speculated that a new title in the Star Wars series might be on the cards, continuing the story of Cal Kestis.

Reported on here in a brilliant article by Alex Avard for Gamesradar, it looks like the company’s new roles seem to suggest that employees will be working on a new title that seems to fit the M.O of the recent Star Wars title, implying that this may be the sequel that many would hope for.

Releasing to critical and fan acclaim, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was described by many as the Star Wars title they’d always wished for, providing an interesting story alongside RPG elements and fluid combat without the microtransactions and in-game purchases that plagued the likes of Battlefront 2.

With the project still in the recruitment phase, however, we might be looking at a long wait before development of the title begins.
