It looks like the Elder Scrolls: Legends card game will soon disappear into history, with the console ports of the title cancelled and development on the title now on hold.

Announced via the Elder Scrolls: Legends subreddit, Bethesda told fans that they would be continuing to allow the game to be downloaded and will be rewarding fans with a few cards as an apology and that monthly rewards and in-game events would continue for the foreseeable future.
This wasn’t really a surprise to anyone, especially considering the number of virtual card games that have failed to garner a fan-base over recent years, like Gwent and Valve’s Artifact.
Are you sad to see The Elder Scrolls: Legends begin to fade into obscurity, or do you think the age of virtual card games is over?
