It looks like fans of the Ridge Racer series are going to be disappointed, with the rumoured 8th title in the series apparently cancelled by Namco Bandai.

Initially reported on here by NintendoSmash, it looks like the secretive title has now been cancelled, with the Linkedin information for a developer that mentioned the two titles now having been deleted.

It’s a shame if it’s true, however the potential possibility remains that the developer was simply asked to remove the information to avoid any kind of information leaks.
