Command and Conquer in the hands of Westwood Studios was really something special, but it always felt like Renegade, the series foray into first-person, needed a bit more time to really become something special.

Enter Earthbreakers, a new game currently being worked on by ex-Westwood developers.

Petroglyph Games, the studio comprised of many old Westwood employees, has had mixed results when it comes to game releases, but now it looks like the studio is eager to show what they can do with their newest title, a hybrid of both FPS and RTS styles.

Clearly a title looking to eliminate the faults and capture the good aspects of Renegade and taking on an interesting graphical style, Earthbreakers looks pretty impressive!

Releasing in 2020, Earthbreakers looks like one to watch!
