It looks like Valve has done a good job of drumming up hype for their next instalment in the Half-Life series, with the new VR title, Half-Life: Alyx, causing the Valve Index headsets to sell out in several regions.

Initially announced on the 21st of November via YouTube, Alyx looks to be the most graphically intensive and impressive title ever seen on VR, making many to believe that Valve may, once again, revolutionise the gaming industry as they have with previous Half-Life iterations.

In the wake of the announcement fans have been eager to prepare for the title, with Valve’s own VR headset, the Index, selling out in a number of regions, something pretty impressive when you consider that the sales price of the unit is around £919.00 currently.
