No Man’s Sky has released their latest update, dropping a huge amount of new content into the title on both console and Steam editions.

Update 2.2, also known as Synthesis, seems to add a pretty hefty list of new features and updates, including ship class upgrades, ship salvaging, new terrain manipulation tools, loads of quality of life improvements and even a first-person Exocraft.

Despite having launched to negative press and a bad reception in 2016, developer Hello Games have provided a huge amount of support, turning the game from a complete failure into a real contender in the space exploration genre.
