Facebook has taken another stride in securing new titles for the Oculus VR system, having acquired Beat Games, the creator of Beat Saber.
Seen here in a post on the Oculus blog, it looks like Beat Games will be working on pushing VR “to new heights” with Facebook’s backing by not only updating Beat Saber, but also via new titles planned in future.

Facebook also expressed an interest in potentially buying new studios in future, but have reassured fans that titles will continue to be supported on all platforms.
Despite this, it looks like fans are sceptical about the future of the studio under the guidance of Facebook, with many assuming that this may cause issues with the custom songs that can be created and offered on the title, assuming that Facebook may remove this feature to please music creators associated with the platform.
What do you think about the collaboration?
