Call of Duty is surrounded by Nintendo titles at the top of the charts

It looks like both Activision Blizzard and Nintendo will be pleased, with Modern Warfare sitting at the number one spot for physical sales in the UK with a large number of Nintendo titles taking many of the other slots in the top 10 slots.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare/ Activision Blizzard

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare saw the spot briefly taken away by Pokemon Sword and Shield, but now looks to be secure at the top of the charts again, followed by a mixture of different Nintendo titles, including the aforementioned Pokemon, Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Mario and Sonic at the Tokyo Olympic Games all holding spots amongst the top ten.

Seen here in more depth in a brilliant article by Christopher Dring for GamesIndustry.Biz, it looks like both publishers are enjoying a profitable period, whilst Hideo Kojima’s new and controversial Death Stranding has dropped down to the 13th place in the sales chart.

What was the most recent title you bought?
