With a history of putting the consumer first, CD Projekt Red has gone from strength to strength with its fan-base, garnering praise for a positive, pro-consumer approach in regard to monetization and special editions.

Now, it looks like the company is eager to maintain the same reputation moving forwards, with the president of CD Projekt Red, Adam Kiciński, suggesting in a recent conference call that the developer would be eager to maintain their reputation of delivering “valuable products” in regard to the multiplayer functionality in Cyberpunk.
This does mean, however, that the online multiplayer aspect of the title will feature some form of monetization.
Cyberpunk 2077, the futuristic role-playing title, will see players thrust into the hazardous and hostile environment of Night City.
Players may have to wait before facing off against one another, however, as multiplayer is supposedly something CD Projekt Red currently considers a “smaller project” that they’re “just starting”.
Personally, I can’t wait to throw myself into the sci-fi world on the 16th of April next year.
Are you excited for Cyberpunk 2077?
