It looks like fans of the Resident Evil series might have something to look forward to, with more and more sources starting to suggest that a remake of Resident Evil 3 might be on the horizon.

After the success of the recent remake of Resident Evil 2, it looks likely that Capcom will take the prospect of remaking old titles far more seriously in future, adding credence to the rumours mentioned by Eurogamer here.
Initially released in 1999, Resident Evil 3 allowed players to one again control popular character Jill Valentine as she struggles to survive in Raccoon City, pursued by the terrifying Nemesis creature.
Personally, I’d love to see a remake of 3, but would also really like to see Capcom look into a remaster of the multiplayer Outbreak titles, that struggled when first released due to many lacking the online access now available to gamers.
Would you be excited for a remaster of Resident Evil 3?
