It looks like remakes and remastered titles are here to stay, with the Resident Evil 2 Remake winning the Golden Joystick award for Ultimate Game of the Year.

Released in January, and praised by both fans and critics for it’s dynamic gameplay experience and enhancement of the original title, the remake of Resident Evil 2 had really shown the potential success that can be enjoyed by publishers if projects are handled correctly.
Improving on the combat mechanics and adding a wealth of new puzzles, the remake has done more than simply recreate an older title, instead showcasing the love and passion of the team at Capcom.
