It looks like fans are happy with the new Sonic the Hedgehog design unveiled by Paramount pictures.

Initially announced in April, the design of the iconic hedgehog was met with widespread criticism, with many viewers expressing horror at the oddly realistic approach taken towards the fan favourite.

Taking on the feedback and heading back to the drawing board, we can now see a new and improved character far closer to the designs seen in the games, which many fans seem to be welcoming with open arms.

It’s always good to see a studio taking on the feedback and criticism of their consumers, so all that remains is to see how the film is received when it releases in 2020.
