It looks like Steam might be offering it’s own streaming service to combat the likes of Google Stadia, with a Tweet from Steam Database suggesting the popular company and distributor is working on something called “Steam Cloud Gaming”.

According to the Tweet, the new service was noticed via a change in coding on a partner site and could be proof that the publisher is eager to step up to the challenge of things such as Stadia, the new streaming game service provided by Google.
Providing an alternative to high-end computers and consoles, Stadia is set to allow users to stream titles at high resolution to any device, whether on the go or at home, but has faced criticism and scepticism due to restrictive data plans and potential signal issues.
What do you think about the future of gaming?
