It looks like players need to be a bit wary about the latest Mario and Sonic title, with one gamer reporting a wealth of issues via Reddit.
Initially highlighted by Reddit user Strawberrymilky, the title has apparently proven to be less than perfect in Asia, with issues surrounding local co-op aspects of the title leading fans to feel less than happy with the product.

Speaking on several of the supposed issues, Strawberrymilky said that “most events in quick play will end in less than a minute” and that the necessity to regularly resync Switch JoyCons between different mini-games kills the pacing and destroys immersion.
The most worrying concern may be that events are unable to be queued in local multiplayer, meaning that players are instead forced to navigate menus every few minutes, rather than simply play the various events on offer.
With Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 by Sega due for release on the 4th of November, we’ll soon see the extent of the issues ourselves.
Are you planning on getting the title?
