It looks like Take Two Interactive is in another SupMatto situation, allegedly harassing YouTuber and modder GamingDamned for his project on Red Dead Redemption.

Speaking on the incident here, GamingDamned talks about the way Take Two Interactive, the publisher behind Red Dead Redemption, apparently obtained private contact information for not only the modder, but also family members, such as his mother.
The mod which adds visual changes on the console title looks to have potentially caused an issue with the publishers due to walking a fine line with console emulation, however, speaking to fellow YouTuber SWEGTA here, GamingDamned instead suggested that he thought the mod would “drive up sales” rather than encourage piracy.

With Take Two Interactive already notorious for it’s tactics towards gamers after having pursued Borderlands fan SupMatto via Private Investigators (as reported on here by Jim Sterling) before hitting his channel with a mass of DMCA strikes, it’s understandable that everyone is on edge.
It’s a troubling situation and I just hope that the publisher and GamingDamned are able to open up a successful discourse before a similar situation occurs.
What do you think about the situation?
