It can be easy to think that gaming news is nothing but doom and gloom, but sometimes it can also highlight some wonderful and selfless acts that restore our faith in humanity.

Reddit poster DillWillHill recently stopped by Gamestop in America to make a large purchase, but the items weren’t for friends and family, they were for a wide range of children stuck inside hospitals!

Spending $10,000 in a store with a friend, the heroic duo then went on to donate the purchased items (which included PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch consoles) to ill and poorly children in a number of different hospitals.

With so many negative and depressing stories, it’s great to see such a positive and inspiring story!
