It looks like Divinity fans will have to wait for a while before they get to see a new chapter in the popular franchise

Annouced earlier today via Twitter, Larian Studios spoke about their sadness at having to put the title on hold, but also about their recent work on Baldur’s Gate 3, with news said to be “coming soon” in regards to the project.

Divinity: Fallen Heroes is set directly after the popular Original Sin 2 and would see players encountering familiar characters on a new adventure with a revised combat system.

The title has now been shelved for the time being, but fans seem happy with the decision and are content to wait, with many citing their trust and belief in the studio’s ability to create a good release.

It looks like other companies should look to Larian to see the importance of gaining the respect and appreciation of their fans.
