After 20 years at Xbox Mike Ybarra, the Corporate Vice President at Xbox is leaving for a new project that he says he will update us on shortly.

Speaking on his decision via Twitter, Ybarra took time to thank everyone at “TeamXbox” before announcing that he was off to something that he thinks will continue to help “make gaming better for everyone”
Having been originally hired as a systems engineer in 2000, Ybarra then moved through a range of manager and director roles before finally becoming the corporate vice-president of program management, which saw him oversee and work on projects such as Xbox Live and Xbox Game Pass.
Now departing the company, I’m eager to see where Mike will go next and how he’ll continue to shape the gaming industry, which is yet to be announced.
