It looks like Nintendo can officially call the remastered version of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening a success, with the game selling over 430,000 copies in Europe within the first 72 hours.

Reported by website 4Players, the article by Marcel Kleffmann also goes on to state that the game is the fastest selling release for Nintendo in Europe this year.
The remake of the popular Gameboy title lets players take control of Link as he quests to awaken the sleeping Windfish, battling against a variety of enemies and environmental dangers as he recovers the mythical instruments hidden across Koholint Island.
The title also enjoyed good sales in Japan, where it was reported to have sold an estimated 141,375 physical copies and topping the charts.

With the release received in such a positive light, are we about to see more titles remastered from Nintendo in the future?
Personally, I hope so!
