It’s not been a good week for Ubisoft.

Following a mixture of complaints after the bug-filled beta, Ubisoft’s latest title, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint faced a huge backlash due to the heavy monitization in the title.
Despite the Publisher removing the microtransactions for the time being, the game is still facing yet more controversy due to a server error that saw players unable to log in to the servers for single and multiplayer yesterday.

The latest title sees players head to the South Pacific to take on the infamous Wolves, elite soldiers loyal to Cole Walker, AKA John Bernthal from Netflix Punisher series.
Despite an interesting premise, the game has been trashed by gamers and the PlayStation 4 version of the title currently sits at an embarrassing Metacritic score of 2.6.
It looks like Ubisoft is going to have a tough time winning back consumers angry at the current state of the title, but we’ll have to see how the Publisher aims to address the backlash over the coming weeks.
