Looking to team up with a few friends on different platforms?
Then you’ll be pleased to hear that Crossplay is now available on PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds!
Announced via Twitter the update will enable players from Xbox and PlayStation to finally face one another on the battlefield.

The latest update from the popular battle royale also adds a new progression system and fixes bugs on both consoles.
First released in 2017, PUBG enjoyed success with players by providing an exciting and new mode of play that had been underused until the title launched, the battle royale format.
The popular game has lost players since the launch of another competitive multiplayer battle royale, Fortnite from Developers Epic Games, but still remains host to a huge community who prefer the more realistic shooter.
With the new cross platform feature and some quality of life updates, PUBG hopes to see a resurgence in it’s numbers, but will it be enough to entice old and new players back into the battleground?
