It looks like you can get more downloadable in game content for the latest Call of Duty…with some pizza?

The American Pizza and snack company, Totino’s have partnered with Activision ahead of the latest Call of Duty: Modern Warfare release to offer exclusive in-game items when players enter a code that comes with the product.
Having already offered a similar promotion with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Totinos and Activision have come under scrutiny before for the odd collaboration which gated exclusive content behind paywalls, such as in this video by Jim Sterling.
Teaming up with Esports organisation and lifestyle brand 100 Thieves, the items and content was described by Ander Nickell, head of Global Partnerships at Activision, as things that will “resonate with Call of Duty gamers”.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare releases on the 12th September 2019 but personally, I think the whole thing just sounds a bit…cheesy?
