At their State of Play event last night PlayStation announced that the upcoming remaster of cult hit game, MediEvil, would have a demo available straight after the event.

Initially developed by SCE Cambridge Studios in 1998, players took control of the hapless undead knight Sir Daniel Fortesque as he battled to avenge his death and become a true hero by slaying the evil sorcerer, Zarok.

Now the remaster of the title by Other Ocean Emeryville will see a new generation of players take up the mantle and struggle forth as the one-eyed protagonist as he smashes his way through swaps, fields and graveyards to avenge his death.

The demo is available now via the PlayStation store, so why not head over and give it a try?
