During the 80th anniversary of the Batman series we saw a number of different spotlight displays to pay homage to the Caped Crusader’s iconic bat-signal, however, one was a little bit different than the others.

Initially noticed on Reddit by user Benji-Sales, the WB Games Montreal signal seemed to flicker to several other images which, when viewed properly, appear to be mysterious symbols many are assuming are linked to secret societies within the DC universe. (You can view the symbols clearly here)

The Arkham series, which began with Arkham Asylum, have been hailed as some of the best games for capturing the tone and feel of the complex DC hero, but with the last official title in the series having been released in June 2015 and a current sale on all Batman titles, are we seeing the company gear up for another entry?

I, for one, would love to see the Dark Knight take to the streets again!
