With the Final Fantasy VII Remake looming, many fans of the classic title are hotly anticipating a return to the industrial city of Midgar, but consumers are divided on the topic of the combat system, which until now, had seemed vastly different to the original.
But now producer Yoshinori Kitase has previewed a solution at Tokyo Games Show 2019, a classic mode where combat is changed to the traditional turn-based system that many missed.

I think we all need to take a second and really thank Kitase for considering all angles when it came to the remake process.
One worry I personally had was that the series would forgo the sweet and sometimes comical atmosphere. Gone would be the Cloud dress-up sequence, for more gritty undertones. but having seen new clips, I feel reassured that the game will tackle the complicated routes of terrorism and resistance whilst also remaining light with humorous interludes like the classic Squat-Off pictured below.

Alongside these reveals we were also shown a larger than life Don Corneo, voiced by none other than the legendary Mark Hamill, Star Wars Hero and longtime voice of popular characters like DC’s Joker.

With so much fantastic news and reassurance provided for fans, Final Fantasy VII Remake looks to be ensuring some great sales figures when it releases on the 3rd of March, 2020.
Personally, I can’t wait to get my hands on it!
